1. Scope
This policy applies to the iPhone app Pet Seizure Log. The app lets you record seizure timing, symptoms, severity, medication, and videos for your pet.
2. Device storage
Pet profiles, seizure records, symptoms, medication, dose adjustments, settings, and purchase status are stored on the device. We do not operate a server that receives these records. Backups are created and managed only when you initiate them.
3. Photos and video
A video selected or recorded in the iPhone app is saved in Apple Photos. The app links the record to the Photos asset identifier instead of copying the video to our servers. Deleting the original video can make playback unavailable in the app.
4. Advertising and consent
The free iOS app uses Google AdMob. Personalized, non-personalized, or limited ads may be served according to your Google consent choices and App Tracking Transparency selection. Its SDK may process device identifiers, ad data, approximate location, app interaction, crash, performance, and diagnostic data for advertising, measurement, fraud prevention, and diagnostics. Seizure records, medication, and video content are not sent to the ad SDK. Ads are not requested when Google has not authorized an ad request. When ATT is denied or restricted, IDFA is not sent and the app requests non-personalized ads. When ATT is authorized, Google still applies the user's consent choices to determine the serving mode.
5. StoreKit purchases
Apple StoreKit handles ad removal, additional pet purchases, restoration, refunds, and the monthly auto-renewing Premium subscription. Apple handles payment information. The App Store shows the price for your region. Existing device data is not automatically deleted when Premium expires.
6. Retention and deletion
Records remain on the device until you delete them. Use Data Management to delete app records. Backups and Photos videos must be deleted separately from their storage locations.
